The spring play The Importance of Being Earnest will be postponed until Thursday and Friday, May 13 and 14.

The play was postponed due to a scheduling hiccup,” said Sutton Casey, theater teacher and play director. She said that they also needed to make sure the costumes were delivered on time for the play.

The play is scheduled both nights to start at 7 p.m. in the SHS gym.

The postponement is occurring to make sure that the play can be performed, she said.

The Importance of Being Earnest is one of Oscar Wilde’s most famous plays. It is about a romantic comedy about love and telling the truth when its convenient, said Ms. Casey.
