This year’s seniors have decided on the speaker, class song, and class quote at graduation.

The commencement speaker will be social studies teacher Tim Lorenzini, according to an e-mail sent by senior advisor Molissa Bifelt to the graduating seniors. Graduation is on May 15 at the SHS gymnasium.

The class song will be “The Hall of Fame” by The Script.

There was a tie on the class quote between “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind,” from Dr. Seuss, and “All our dreams can come true… if we have the courage to pursue them,” from Walt Disney.

Seniors are reminded to turn in their five photos for the graduation ceremony’s senior slide to Paul Apfelbeck on the SHS campus, or school secretaries Angie Pittsenbarger at GILA or Puddings Huntington at SHS. Seniors can choose a song to go along with your photos.

Seniors should also get their last will and testament for the yearbook to Mr. Apfelbeck as soon as possible. Every senior has a page in the yearbook; the senior can choose writing and photos that they would like to put in the yearbook.
