Galena health students ready themselves for HOSA conference

The Students of GILA have and amazing opportunity in Anchorage next semester for the health career field as they start the year’s HOSA contests, said Carrie Given, health careers teacher.

The event will be taking place in Anchorage on March 23 – 25. Anybody who signs up that is in a health careers class will be allowed to participate in the below events.

Health Science Knowledge Written Test: (Completed online)

As of now we have 3 participants:
Cora Jones, participating in AID/CPR and a written test.
Jade Lewis, participating in AID/CPR and a written test.
Angelica Firmin, participating in medical reading and a written test.

We encourage thoughts who are in any health careers classes to consider participating in 3 of the events in Anchorage.
