Clubs will be offered for GILA students starting on Sunday.

The club sign-ups will be on Sunday, January, 24 at 4 p.m. in the GILA gym. Joining a club is mandatory for all GILA students. SHS students are also welcome to join.

There are sixteen clubs: Smash Bros., NYO, bingo at the elder center, anime, Grimm (the television series), swimming lessons, book reading, games in the community, trapping, surprise club, World of Warcraft for girls only, sled shop, drawing club, movie club in the auditorium, and homework club.

“I’m excited for third quarter clubs to get started,” program coordinator Nichole Hibl said. “There’s lots of variety and should be something for everyone to enjoy.”

The new clubs are billiards (pool), NYO, swimming lessons, book reading, games in the community, trapping, World of Warcraft for girls only, and drawing club.

So far the movie club is the most popular, she said.
