Galena swimmers had many personal bests at the Northern Area Championship swim meet April 1-3 at the Hamme Pool in Fairbanks.

“Everyone dropped time. I was happy,” said swim coach Jason Harris.

The older swimmers practiced 4 times a week and it was an hour and half.

The Galena swim season will conclude with Hawk swimmer John Riddle III, a sixth grader from Galena, taking part in Junior Olympics on April 22.
