The annual Galena Hawks wrestlers Intersquad Rumble is 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, in the GILA campus gym.

The high school wrestlers are going to be joined by elementary and junior high athletes on the Little Hawks team.

The event will be showcasing the wrestlers’ skills in one-on-one duels, said Josh Pittsenbarger, Little Hawks and high school coach.

During the event, there will be time for senior callouts, where senior wrestlers will be allowed to call out anyone from the crowed to come out and wrestle the challenger. There will be one match going on at a time, and each match will last until someone has been pinned.

Coach Pittsenbarger said he was looking forward to having the Little Hawks wrestler, showing off their growing knowledge in the world of wrestling.

The event was supposed to have taken place Nov. 30, but due to other recent event scheduling, the coaches pushed the rumble back to this Friday.
